A joint framework for doctoral training, collaboration and mobility across the EUNICoast Alliance.

Explore current opportunities

The preparatory phase of the future EUNICoast Doctoral School aims to pilot concrete joint activities at Alliance level in order to strengthen doctoral training, foster collaboration between partner institutions, and prepare the long-term implementation of a shared European doctoral framework.

By testing training formats, mobility schemes and collaborative approaches, the Joint Strategic Initiative contributes to building a common doctoral culture across EUNICoast universities.

Objectives

  • support high-quality doctoral training across the Alliance,
  • strengthen interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration,
  • enhance doctoral mobility within EUNICoast,
  • identify doctoral needs and priorities for the future Doctoral School,
  • test governance and operational mechanisms at Alliance level.

Current Opportunities

Two complementary opportunities for PhD candidates are currently offered within the JSI preparatory phase.
These opportunities are independent. PhD candidates may apply to one or both, according to their profile and research needs.

Joint Interdisciplinary Workshop
