Blended Intensive Program that addresses agile project management in coastal community settings.

  • Onsite phase: 18 -22 May 2026

About the Program:

This course delves into advanced topics in agile project management, with a specific emphasis on software development. The curriculum will explore various aspects of:

  • Agile Methods
  • Lean Principles and Flow
  • Extreme Programming
  • Critical Success Factors for Agile Software Projects
  • Observability in Agile Projects
  • Agile practice in coastal communities

Target Group:

The course is open to all students from EUNICoast universities who are pursuing studies in computer science or related fields. The course is designed for masters level students. Final-year bachelor's students may also be considered for admission, subject to availability of places.

  • West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Poland
  • Universitat de les Illes Balears, Spain
  • Local Software Industry experts

Nomination Process:

Each EUNICoast partner institution may nominate up to 3 students in ranked order according to the following procedure:

Priority 1: First-choice student guaranteed acceptance (subject to eligibility criteria)

Priority 2: Second-choice student will be placed in a selection pool

Priority 3: Third-choice student will be placed in a selection pool

After all Priority 1 nominations are confirmed (maximum 12 places), the remaining places will be filled from the selection pool of Priority 2 and then from Priority 3 nominations. Students will be selected based on the following criteria:

  1. English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
  2. Relevant academic background (computer science or related field)
  3. Quality of motivation statement
  4. Diversity considerations (fewer opportunities, gender balance, nationality mix, study field variety)

Note: If a partner institution does not submit nominations by the given deadline, their guaranteed Priority 1 place may be allocated to Priority 2/3 nominations from other institutions.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Enrolled at EUNICoast partner institution
  • Studying computer science or a related field
  • At least B2 level English proficiency
  • Availability for both the online component (16 April) and onsite phase (18-22 May 2026)

Nomination Deadline: 31 January 2026

Please submit nominations via email to incoming@hochschule-stralsund.de including:

  1. Full name and email address
  2. Study program and level (Bachelor/Master)
  3. Indication of Priority 1, 2 or 3

Accommodation:

Affordable accommodation options will be recommended by the organizing team from HOST and are available in sufficient capacity.
