New common European ecosystem

Events

A promotional graphic for a Student Festival shows a group of people standing waist-deep in the sea with arms raised at sunset, alongside bold text reading “Student Festival” and badges stating “3 ECTS,” “21–25 Sept 2026,” and “University of Sassari.”

The EUNICoast Alliance is launching its first-ever Student Festival, and you could be part of it. Waves of change brings together 100 students from 12 partner universities for five days in Sassari, combining hands-on collaborative work with cultural exchange and a real taste of European student life.

Four hackathons, one coastal thread

You will work in interdisciplinary teams on one of four thematics, on which each hackathon focuses: Heritage and Waves (cultural identity and coastal innovation), Blue Code (marine ecosystem solutions), Many Voices, One Coast (multilingualism and inclusion), or Tech4Good (digital tools for coastal communities). Every hackaton is open to students from all disciplines. Your results will be presented at a closing ceremony on 25 September.

Travel and accommodation are covered by mobility grants managed by your home institution.
