EUNICoast proudly took part in the European Student Assembly (ESA), held from 26 to 28 May 2025 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

This annual event, organised by the EUC VOICES project, brings together over 200 students from European University Alliances to reflect on key societal challenges and propose concrete recommendations for the future of Europe. As a young and growing alliance, EUNICoast was represented throughout the event to share its values, connect with peers, and contribute to the broader European Universities initiative.

What did we do on site?

  • Participation in the Village of Alliances
We presented EUNICoast to students, alliance members and stakeholders during a dedicated showcase moment. This was an opportunity to highlight the alliance’s identity, our cross-border cooperation, and future student engagement initiatives.
  • Workshops for alliance representatives
EUNICoast took part in key workshops focused on artificial intelligence and ethics alongside other representatives. These sessions provided inspiration for developing similar initiatives within our own network.
  • Alliance Meeting
We joined discussions with other European University alliances to reflect on how to better involve students and disseminate the outcomes of events such as ESA within our institutions.
  • Strategic Network Building
We established concrete connections with 60+ alliances, creating new pathways for EUNICoast student mobility, joint projects, and cross-alliance collaborations.

Why does this matter for EUNICoast?

EUNICoast is committed to building a dynamic and inclusive alliance that maximises opportunities for our students. Participating in ESA2025 was a valuable step towards:

  • Raising awareness of our alliance at the European level,
  • Listening to the voices of students, their priorities and their expectations,
  • Laying the groundwork for stronger cooperation, particularly in the area of student participation and engagement.

We thank the organisers and all participants for making this event so inspiring and forward-looking. EUNICoast is proud to be part of this growing European movement
